Nestled in the Mediterranean Sea off Spain's eastern coast lies Ibiza, a tiny island with a colossal reputation as the epicenter of electronic music. The rhythms of house, techno, trance, and dubstep echo through its veins, capturing the spirits of music enthusiasts who journey to this vibrant paradise year after year.

Ibiza's nightlife, famous for its thriving club scene, boasts legendary venues like Pacha, Ushuaïa, Amnesia, and DC10. These have become the preferred stages for the titans of the electronic music scene, with stars like Carl Cox, Clapton, Vintage Culture, Afterlife, Nicole Moudaber, and Richie Hawtin imprinting their distinctive sound on the island's musical ethos.

With the advent of May, Ibiza bursts into a frenzy of music and dance that lasts until October, peaking in July and August. This bustling clubbing season is interspersed with unforgettable club nights and residencies, attracting DJs worldwide who metamorphose the island into a rhythmic epicenter of exuberant celebration.
Throughout my DJing journey, Ibiza has been the object of my dreams, not as a tourist, but as a contributing artist. I have always yearned to add my beats to the island's eclectic mix, to play my part for an audience that is there purely for their love of music. Beyond its bustling nightlife, Ibiza is an island of contrasts, where daytime parties at beach clubs, poolside venues, and boat cruises also take center stage. The air thrums with the pulse of electronic beats, creating an energetic, yet surreal ambiance exclusive to Ibiza.
A decade after beginning my career as a DJ in 2013, and a pandemic-induced delay, this dream finally became reality. I was fortunate enough to play as the sun set on San Antoni, the island's most picturesque area, a truly magical experience!

For all the aspiring DJs out there, this journey isn't an easy one, but it is achievable. I will share more about this in an upcoming article, so stay tuned. Remember, the key is to be prepared and give your best performance so that the invitation to return is inevitable.
The island's culture is so entwined with electronic music; it is practically impossible to separate the two. From the iconic Café del Mar sunsets to the renowned parties at Playa d’en Bossa, Ibiza's legacy is woven into the fabric of electronic music. It has become more than just a place; it's a symbol, a movement, a tribute to the enduring might of electronic music.
On the west coast of Ibiza lies the town of San Antonio, or Sant Antoni de Portmany, famously celebrated for its stunning sunsets. As day gives way to evening, the once blue Mediterranean skies morph into a spectacle of color, painting the sea in shades of gold, pink, orange, and fiery red.

People throng to the Sunset Strip, a stretch of coast dotted with cafes and bars like Café Mambo and Café del Mar, as well as the newly established Monkey Ibiza, to witness this daily display. The atmosphere buzzes with anticipation, yet retains a sense of calm. As the sun descends, the music shifts, matching the mood, and setting the stage for an unforgettable Ibiza night.

A spontaneous applause often accompanies the sun's final bow - a collective recognition of another day well spent on the island. Every sunset is unique, changing with the weather, season, and viewing spot, but the certainty is that a San Antonio sunset is a sight to savor, a memory to treasure, and undoubtedly one of Ibiza's most enchanting experiences.
I eagerly anticipate my return to San Antonio's clubs, with their breathtaking sunsets right from the booth. I'm grateful for this opportunity and eagerly counting down to my next performance.
