LOLA DJ
(Techno, Psytrance, and Drum n Bass DJ, Event and Music Producer - Brasília-DF)
Hello! I’m Hyandra, better known as Lola. I’m 27 years old, born and raised in Brasília, where I work as a DJ in the styles that make my head buzz. I’m deeply involved in my city’s scene, dedicating myself to Techno, Psytrance, and Drum n Bass.
From a very young age, I’ve always tried to explore art, venturing into various areas like dance and different instruments. At 14, I realized that the feeling I experienced when listening to electronic music was very different from any other musical style, and I decided I wanted to learn how to be a DJ, without really knowing what was in store for me. At 15, I enrolled in a DJ school, and that’s where it all began.
At that time (2013), House music was the sound I was most accustomed to, influenced by DJ friends who were dedicated to that style, which made sense to me. However, that turned out to be just the beginning. I soon started feeling confused about what I really wanted to play, following trends and noticing how the sound had changed over time—I think I had my first identity crisis.
When I started my Speech-Language Pathology degree in 2016, I was very open to playing anything, embracing the Open Format, and performed at the most diverse events, often playing styles far removed from electronic music. I’ve always been a homebody (ironically), so when I wasn’t playing at these parties, I didn’t go out. During this time, I became frustrated with what I was doing, didn’t adapt to the Open Format, and decided I didn’t want to DJ anymore. I took a break for about a year until I truly immersed myself in the underground scene and understood what I needed to explore new paths.
In 2018, after diving into the Psytrance raves in my city, I decided it was time to try again and started my projects, this time focused on Psy and Drum n Bass as a secondary project. I strongly identified with faster-paced sounds and left House behind.
The idea of playing Drum n Bass came from the need to play a more urban sound, outside the environment I was most immersed in. I missed the Clubber vibe and indoor parties, and this was the style I identified with the most—I've always been a fan of drum sounds. It didn’t take long for Techno to captivate me as well, also exploring the underground of my city. A year later, I was dedicating myself to all three styles and I’m still going strong today, now with new priorities.
What does electronic music represent to you?
For me, electronic music is like a teleportation to another dimension, pure emotion. It’s the feeling of being able to fly without wings or something like that. It awakens a sensation of total freedom, as if I could enter deep trances. At the same time, I feel that it has become a refuge, a place I run to when everything else doesn’t make sense.
What is your biggest goal in the electronic scene?
My biggest goal today in the electronic scene is to attract new people to the scene (whether as artists or as an audience), especially women and particularly to the Bass Music scene in my city. Currently, even though I’m working on my first Psytrance EP, I’m fully diving into Drum n Bass and would like to start projects dedicated to this style, with my own music productions and also in event production. In fact, despite my love for other genres, Drum n Bass has proven to be my greatest passion.
Tell us about upcoming dates, releases, or any music/project you want to highlight:
In September, I’ll be returning to Goiânia, a city that has warmly embraced my dedication to Drum n Bass, sharing the lineup with some local scene heavyweights and a few guests. I’ll also finally be announcing the release date of my Psytrance EP. I’m super excited to be releasing my original tracks after so many years of performing DJ sets.

This was my brief account of my journey in electronic music, which despite the time, feels like it’s just beginning. I hope it serves as inspiration for those who need encouragement to start their own journey. From my side, you can count on my dedication to nurturing the scene. One day, a song made by someone on the other side of the world touched my heart in such a special way that it changed my entire life. I hope that, in the same way, I can touch the hearts of many as well. Thank you for your attention ❤️

MORANGA DJ
(Techno and Raw Deep Techno DJ / Music and Cultural Producer / Therapeutic Assistant / Entrepreneur - Brasília-DF)
Hi, I’m Moranga, 36 years old, originally from Porto Velho - Rondônia, but I’ve been living in Brasília for at least 20 years. I started my DJ career in Trance, specifically in Dark Psy and Goa. Today, I play Techno and Raw Deep Techno with a hypnotic touch, always leaning towards darker sounds full of bass and groove. I’m married to DJ Turambar, and I’m part of two collectives that I love in Brasília: Coletivo Hangover and Coletivo Eletromanas, which is exclusively for women.
I’m a DJ and producer from House Mag Academy, an entrepreneur, cultural producer from Instituto Tomie Ohtake, and I’m also trained in HR and recently became a therapeutic assistant, as I have a son with Autism Spectrum Disorder (TEA), my dear Inácio.
My journey in the electronic scene officially began in 2019, when my husband, DJ Turambar, encouraged me to dive headfirst into this world. He always believed in my potential, just like my best friend and life sister, Bruna. They have always lifted me up and encouraged me. With their support, I started training intensively, and by the end of 2019, we founded the Coletivo Hangover together with six amazing DJs and artists from Brasília: me, Moranga, Turambar, Evah, Barbie Melo, Martl, Robz, Bunny, and Gusta Marti.
However, my passion for music began much earlier, at 17, when I was the vocalist of a Gothic Rock band called Vultos and collaborated on lyrics for some of the tracks on the band’s last albums. I have always been a fervent lover of rock, especially Gothic, death metal, and black metal. Music has always been a form of expression for me, a way to purge my own demons.
This deep connection with music and the understanding that it has the power to transform lives has driven and continues to drive me forward. I believe that when people go to a show or listen to a DJ, they’re looking for a way to escape their problems, to be liberated. And I believe that the more we provide this liberation, creating unforgettable moments and making everyone’s hearts beat faster, the more music and the scene should be.
What does electronic music represent to you?
Electronic music is the pulse of my soul. From the first contact, I was captivated by trance, which opened doors to an infinite sonic universe. Through the beats and melodies, I found a unique form of expression, a refuge, and a channel for connecting with people. Every set I play, every event I produce, is a celebration of this passion. As a DJ and producer, I lose and find myself in dark and techno sounds, reflecting my personal and artistic journey. Electronic music has given me unforgettable moments, from rock bands in Brasília to creating Sarjeta Mag and my performances at @coletivohangover, @eletromanas, and my project with my friend @barbiemelodj, @hertzbsb. The vibrant energy of the dance floors, the communion of bodies in motion, and the freedom to create without limits are what drive me. Electronic music is more than a genre; it’s a transformative force that shapes my life, inspires my art, and connects me to a global, passionate, and innovative community.
What is your biggest goal in the electronic scene?
My biggest goal in the electronic scene is to create more and more original tracks, diving deeply into my creativity and musical identity. In the short term, I dream of doing a completely original set, where every beat and melody are an extension of myself. In the long term, I have a huge desire to see Coletivo Hangover grow and continue to be a starting point for new DJs and artists. Additionally, I hope to convey everything that’s on my mind and in my heart to the dance floor.
I want people to feel my passion, my emotions, and my vision through the music. And more than that, I hope they continue to enjoy and connect with what I do. My goal is to create memorable experiences, where each performance is a unique and transformative journey for everyone there, and that they keep sharing that moment with me!

I’m very excited about what’s coming up! On August 31st, I’ll have the honor of performing at my first festival, Festival Raízes, which will take place in Guará II, DF. In addition to performing, I will also be assisting in the event production, an experience I am living every day. This festival is particularly special to me, as it will be held in partnership with two great friends and mentors: DJ Evah and DJ Magah. Together, we have learned and grown a lot, especially regarding the cultural scene and the production of cultural projects. This will be our first festival, but our second project working together for the Eletromanas collective, and I’m extremely happy for this opportunity.
I’m filled with gratitude and excitement to share this moment with such amazing people and to contribute to an event that promises to be unforgettable. I can’t wait to see everyone there and be part of this celebration of music, culture, and, most importantly, female representation!
