In this edition of DJ Music Mag, we bring you an exclusive interview with Bruno Mendoza, one of the most talked-about DJs and producers on music platforms and social media today. Known for his career in both music and public and business management, Bruno shared personal and professional details with us.




DJ Music Mag: Bruno, you’re already familiar to our magazine. Today, we’d like to ask: what does a DJ's job entail nowadays?

Bruno: Funny, but a DJ today is almost like an actor. We create a character and perform. The world has changed, and so has the DJ's job. Today, DJs talk a lot about research, but the reality is that the references come from media algorithms. For me, the artistic side involves a lot of production, management, and coordination.



DJ Music Mag: Tell us about your daily life. We know you’re not just a DJ and producer but also involved in public and business management. How do you manage all these activities?

Bruno: Managing time comes naturally. Management is about organizing and making the plan happen, even improvisation is planned. Currently, I'm a syndicate manager and a mentor in public management. I believe DJs who take the profession seriously are natural managers, organizing everything from the schedule to marketing.

DJ Music Mag: And what about your personal life? How do you relax? Is there room for fun when your job is fun?

Bruno: Yes, there is! I focus on work, but in my free time, I like to feed my mind with knowledge, watch documentaries, read about music, and try various cuisines, with a preference for sushi and Mediterranean dishes.



DJ Music Mag: How did the opportunity to direct SuperMatrix Group arise?

Bruno: It all comes down to decision. The opportunity came through doors that God opened and the vision He gave me. This led to the creation of SuperMatrix Group, which is now a reference in various fields, including event production, radio, magazine, record label, and artist management.

DJ Music Mag: Was it difficult to build? What would you say to those who are just starting and seeking motivation?

Bruno: It has always been difficult, but those who understand the game thrive on it. What I would say is: go through the three phases—mockery, criticism, and success—and then enjoy the results.



DJ Music Mag: Why was it so difficult to get this interview?

Bruno: There's no rivalry, but I believe there are times when we should be reserved. I decided to speak now to inspire others, but always with the intention of motivating.



DJ Music Mag: We know you are a syndicate manager. How did that happen and what motivated you?

Bruno: What led me to be a syndicate manager was the concern for simple and dynamic management. Helping people and transparency were the main motivators. Today, I’m also a mentor to a group of over 500 syndicate managers in Brazil, which grew naturally as a support network among friends and acquaintances.



DJ Music Mag: Finally, what would you like to say to our readers?

Bruno: Just thank you. You are the fuel that makes everything happen and the great motivation for us to keep going.
